For these works at the Piscataway Public Library I choose to use mixed media in a collage format. I am interested in the ideas of re-use and up-cycling and most of the materials used in these works were found around my house. Generally I make works that are conceptual and interactive but for this particular wall I’ve chosen to make four static works that explore the use of every day materials. These works may also be seen as autobiographical sketches that are a reaction to the media and materials surrounding me in my physical space.
