I’ve known about these giant trolls for years but never took the time to learn more about the artist behind them. That changed during a summer 2026 road trip when I encountered five trolls at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens and instantly fell in love with this work. Since then, I’ve learned so much more about the artist and his gigantic and wonderfully expressive trolls. This zine celebrates the artist, his creativity, and the joy his work inspires.
