I created this zine for the Counterplay Conference, taking place May 7–9, 2026 at the Kolding School of Design in Denmark. While I’m unable to attend a conference that I deeply value, I wanted to find a meaningful way to still be present and contribute to the experience.This zine offers a glimpse into my research, but more importantly, it serves as an interactive space for participants. It’s filled with prompts and open pages designed to encourage reflection, drawing, and thoughtful engagement with play throughout the conference. I intentionally left room for each person to make it their own—adding marks, ideas, and creative expressions—so that the zine becomes not just something to read, but something to actively experience and carry forward.
