Woodblock Woodstock- April 2011
Throughout the month of April 2011 Morris Library at Southern Illinois University- Carbondale hosted a series of events titled: Woodblock Woodstock. This month of library programming was a collaborative and cross disciplinary series of events that was put together to further explore the ideas of book art technology and the evolution of the printing press. Included in the project; was an exhibit in Special Collections including a talk by two faculty librarians, an Art Exhibit of SIU undergrad print makers, a talk with Assistant Professor of printmaking and 2 SIU printmaking graduate students, and ended with a 2 day event put on the Drive By Press.
